Thank god it doesn't have frets, or I'd be $800 poorer right now. This will be a fantastic deal for the right player, tho...

If you haven't looked yet, it's an unlined fretless SR5 '05 LE Buttercream. Just one small ding from what looks like a good seller.

Someone needs to snag this.

I really need to have those little markers on my fretless, or this would be mine already.

Grrr.
If only I'd live in the states.
For that bargain I'd learn how to play a fretless.
And cause it's sounds cool off course. :)

I didn't need to see this. :( It caused me to lower the price on another bass I'm in the process of selling.

While my fretted SR4 has always been my go to bass, I've never tried a fretless Stingray. I've tried a few different fretless basses but have never been satisfied.

Well, I wanted a five string, and wanted to try a Stingray. The Buttercream just pushed my over the edge.

Thanks a lot guys :D ,
LeonD

Anf thank you for saving me from myself. I got up this morning and was ready to torture myself again with whether or not to buy that bass.

I know the feeling. I went to bed saying "should I or shouldn't I?". Well I had one person interested in a bass I was selling so I lowered the price a little to see if he'd go for it. And I decided to send the ebay seller a question.

If my bass sold and the seller answered the question, then I figured I should buy the Buttercream.

I did both around 11 pm. By 4:15 am my bass was sold and by 4:35 my question was answered.

It was "buy it now time". :D It should be in my hands on Friday.

One quick Buttercream question, I've looked all around but I can't find out what type of wood the body is made of. Any ideas?

Thanks,
LeonD
