Is it a good idea to buy a fretless neck and place on my sub bass (which I don't use anymore, for I bought a Sting ray...)

Will this work? Any experiences in that?

Thanks!

Love from Belgium!!

I suppose it depends on the neck you intend using. EB dose sell fretless SUBs.

BTW...talking about SUBs...I'm not a 5 banger type of person...but I like the look of the SUB 5 with the regular 'Ray-type pg. I also like the slab bodies. I see EB are also making either black (or clear???) Pgs for the fretless. They'll fit the fretted. I like 2 bander EQs. I may just take a lookie around here :D

Yeah Gav, the current SR5 should really be a Sterling5 but I think the SR5 was introduced before the Sterling4? I would be all over a SR5 that looked like the Sub5 . . . a trans white with rosewood on birds-eye maple . . .mmm mmm :)
(you know)

I'd dearly love to see an SR5 with a 'Ray pg

Unfortunately, they can't be converted because of the routing. Mind you...darn fine Bass anyways.

( I like hot rods with white-walled tyres....if you know what I mean...just personal taste :D )

I had white-walls on my 1963 MGA Mk2 (recessed grill version)....the type that Elvis drove around in that movie...where he plays the Fender Bass...EB and MM weren't around then.

( Yup....you guessed....it was Trans White ;) )

P.S. with mag wheels
