I've had my EB JPM Mystic Dream for a little over a year now. Simply love it. I practice like a mad man as my wife puts it. I switch between my Ibanez and the EB about 50/50. I'm finding that my frets are wearing much faster on the EB. Anyone else noticing this?
My Ibanez has Jumbo frets and I'm using Super Slinky's as opposed to the original set up on my EB JPM. Could this alone explain the difference in fret wear? How often would you expect that I would need to replace them?
