Martinis have been drunk. Basses have been fondled. A record number of Bongos has been sighted. Jack has broken his favorite martini glass and now is playing the guitar (don't worry its an EB) and is singing the blues. Yes people it is a little crazy.

Regards,
Paul

My condolences to jackie-baby losing his favorite drinking buddy. May he find another that serves its purpose just as well.

(for some reason, I want to affix -baby to everybody's name. Must be some form of new disease.)

Now that's funny, considering his take on it! Busted! :D

Things were breaking up a bit after two when I left. The final count was 10 bass players, 14 Bongos, in various colors and flavors, and either 28 or 30 (I got two different counts . . . ) basses total. Don't worry, pictures were taken - you'll see 'em when Jack recovers . . . . .

I suspect that Jack had to deal with several overnight campers . I think that is where the serious damage might start.

No word from Oldtoe , the Strangeglow, or Jack .....

Suspicious that .

I trust a good time was held by all. With Strangeglow's experience with bass parades in New Orleans I was hoping for some kind of looped up bass weilding conga line looping around the neighbor's front and back yards.

I would have loved to have been part of that.....

Bleeaah.

I didn't even drink.

What a time, though!

Jack is going to need some recovery time, I'm sure. Paul's Medallion Gold H/P Bongo fretless was the star of the show, hands down. One of the best basses I've ever played. Tim Dawson's Stealth HH Bongo 5 is the best set-up fiver I've ever played. Fine basses abounded!
