Just thought I'd share what is by far one of my favorite Prog-rock bands at the moment, a little British outfit called Frost*. I've managed to tenuously link this to EBMM as the guitarist/vocalist uses a JP6 (to great effect with the Piezo in the video below). This video is a little stripped-down version of their song 'Hyperventilate' a little instrumental from their first album. Hope you enjoy them (they did support Dream Theater at one point recently, and cite them as a big influence, so no doubt some people will).

Yeeaahhh! One of my favorites as well :)

Dec Burke is an all-EBMM player using JPs and ASS...and is a brilliant player by the way...and a good vocalist, too. If you like modern prog, FROST* is something you should get into, if you like more traditional melodic prog you may also want to check out Darwin's Radio which is Dec's other project

He certainly is, and very nice too (I met him post-them-supporting-DT). Here's something a bit rockier from the lads - listen to the keyboard work in this (its mad).

Interesting trivia - The keyboardist/songwriter for Frost* makes his money writing jingles and pop songs - he was responsible for 'The Tide is High' by old/rubbish pop girl band Atomic Kitten...mad.

...which he only produced, but didn't write :p Unfortunately, he DID write and produce "Whole Again" by Atomic Kitten, which went #1 in the UK (and many other European countries)

And you're perfectly right...Jem Godfrey is a MAD guy :D

I've embarassed myself. :p

Haha, slip of the tongue (keyboard) it would seem. And yes, he is mental. And I love him, haha.
