Hello everyone. I am selling my near mint 2003 Silo with piezo-tremolo and matching headstock. I am asking for $900 shipped with insurance to the lower 48 states. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Thanks for looking!

How would you rate its' physical condition? Dings, scratches, etc.

Thanks.

Dave,

I would say that there are no dents that I have seen, and the scratches would be limited to the pearloid pickguard. When I go home, I will give it a once over to look again for any blemishes.

I would classify it as near mint mainly because the white has yellowed ever-so-slightly - very vintage looking but in slight contrast to the white pickups.

Regards,
Juan

I sold some effect pedals on eBay that went to UK. USPS was the cheapest. I dunno about a guitar though. Check UPS/FexEx/DHL websites I guess.

i am very interested in your silo to backup my JP on stage.

shipping to an APO shouldnt be a prob? (Army Post Office). only USPS ships there.
paypal payment also no problem?

can anyone explain how to switch between piezo/both/magnetic on a silo (JP has an own switch therefore)

thx a lot
auge
p.s. lots of references on TGP and TCM forum

You get an A/B box or manipulate volume knobs. There's no built-in switch.

ok. but there are two jacks (what i've seen on your pics). so i can drive piezo through PA and magneto through my amp.

ok, if it is so we couldt finalize that deal.

best is if we shoot me a mail at: christian (at) augustyn (dot) at

thx

thx a lot. found that already on EB page. its similar to JP except theres no switch. i am sure its not difficult to install that switch when i have it. for live situation i need to change from piezo to magnetic during a song immediately (think of ironic or teenage dirtbag). well. perfect.

thx again. i am curious how the different neckshape feels.

Having recieved a couple of guitars this way. USPS is the way to go. Depending on the exact weight of the package it'll be around $100. Make sure you get it insured though too and that the hardcase is properly packaged.

For a guitar of this price customs will sting you for around £80 (and they'll charge you £8 just for administration!) too, if this is of any use to anyone. :)
