As my new Soloway is due any week now, I am offering up for sale this amazing guitar. Ideally, I don't want to sell it, but it deserved to be played a lot more than what I'll be able to. This is one I'm going to miss big time!
This is a 2005 Axis Super Sport Rosewood, with vintage trem. it has a basswood body, with a rosewood top and a naked solid rosewood neck! Two amazing Dimarzio custom pickups, 5 way switching, one volume and tone control.
I have added a GHOST piezo system to it. This is a somewhat reversible mod, with the exception of a few things (which I did on purpose, to have the cleanest setup possible): I drilled a hole through the bridge plate to route the saddle wires, installed a pop-out battery compartment and drilled a 1/4 hole in the top for the mag/piezo switch.
However, I'm pretty convinced that whoever buys this will use the piezo, it sounds amazing! I have a theory that the rosewood neck adds the right amount of midrange to it to make it sounds really good.
The guitar is *mint*, besides the "mods". I also replaced the ugly cream Strat knobs with pearl-on-chrome dome knobs to match the tuners. The original knobs and saddles are included, of course.
PM/Email me for price info. Only trades I'd consider would be a small, simple Fender/Marshall type amp + cash. Feel free to email me with any question you may have.
Thanks!
