As my new Soloway is due any week now, I am offering up for sale this amazing guitar. Ideally, I don't want to sell it, but it deserved to be played a lot more than what I'll be able to. This is one I'm going to miss big time!

This is a 2005 Axis Super Sport Rosewood, with vintage trem. it has a basswood body, with a rosewood top and a naked solid rosewood neck! Two amazing Dimarzio custom pickups, 5 way switching, one volume and tone control.

I have added a GHOST piezo system to it. This is a somewhat reversible mod, with the exception of a few things (which I did on purpose, to have the cleanest setup possible): I drilled a hole through the bridge plate to route the saddle wires, installed a pop-out battery compartment and drilled a 1/4 hole in the top for the mag/piezo switch.

However, I'm pretty convinced that whoever buys this will use the piezo, it sounds amazing! I have a theory that the rosewood neck adds the right amount of midrange to it to make it sounds really good.

The guitar is *mint*, besides the "mods". I also replaced the ugly cream Strat knobs with pearl-on-chrome dome knobs to match the tuners. The original knobs and saddles are included, of course.

PM/Email me for price info. Only trades I'd consider would be a small, simple Fender/Marshall type amp + cash. Feel free to email me with any question you may have.

Thanks!

It also feels and sounds soooooooo good.
Seriously.
If I could keep playing it enough to justify it, it wouldn't be going anywhere!
But I can't allow it to just sit in its case...

does the neck feel like a normal EBMM neck? always wondered that....if it has the same gunstock feel

No, it feels even better! If you've never wrapped your hand around some naked rosewood, you're missing out!

Tonally, it darkens the tone a bit. But I think that the Axis being a bright guitar, the rosewood sweetens it up just perfectly.

actually i've played an all rosewood strat, but it didnt have the EBMM finish obviously. I'm sure your rosewood axis is a special guitar, the odds of one appearing here in OZ are big. but still its one of those guitars i might have to take a punt on one day!

So I lied.

Last chance, $1050 shipped in the CONUS - killer deal for a basically new Axis RW with piezo. Will ship anywhere in the world for a fee.
