Hey! That looks to be my first Bongo. The S/N looks to be F09978. If so, it is.

Let's see. SLO -> Bass Central, Fla. -> Me, Az -> Travis, Ga. -> Barkatozz, NJ (?) -> and now Curt wherever he may be.

Too funny if somebody brought this back to the forum.

I traded it to Russinator for a Stingray HH.

Really nice!
Between it and the SR5HH I have everything covered.
My poor '92 SR4 seems so.....common. But I did play it in a 5 hour jam Saturday. The Hp in a 3 hour Friday and I'm taking the 5-er tonite to a 3 hr job.
I can only imagine how nice a fretless Bongo 5Hp might be! :D

I can attest she is a sweet bass. The neck feels great and you get a nice clean tone out of the SC. If anybody hasn't tried a H/SC, this is a good opportunity.

edit: fixed the chain.

Actually Russ unloaded it to the guy selling it on the Pit.
Of all the Bongos I've owned, aside from the white one I have, it's the best sounding Bongo I've played.....and all of them have sounded a little different.
