I have a 2000/2001? trans green Stingray 4. It has white perloid pickgaurd and matching headstock. It is in great condition. The fretboard has darkend a bit over time, but there are no dents or scratches on it. I have decided that I like playing 5 string, and don't really see myself going back. I hate to get rid of this bass, but I can't afford to keep a bass that I don't play.

It comes with OHSC and case candy. I would like to get $800 for it. I am located in Richardson, Texas and will deliver in the metro area. Let me know if you are interested.

I don't really have any shots of just the bass, but here is a shot from a gig. I think the color is a little lighter then the picture shows.

p.s. I hope you guys don't take this as spam, I discussed this with bovinehost, and he didn't seem to have a problem with it. I think you have a great forum here, and I have been reading it for a while.

Welcome to the forum Bryan. Good luck with the sale of your bass. Too bad it isn't a 5 string.

Bryan,

Looking at the pics made me think its trans teal. Is it more of a teal color or a yellow green color?

I am jealous, looks great.

One of these days I will get an SR4 in a funky (discontinued?) color. I think SR4s look the best in a lot of colors, especially sparkly things. Id really love to find a gold sparkle stingray or something like that, that you dont see everyday.

That color may be discontinued but if ever one should be brought back. IMHO
It is viewed as great by most of us worshippers of EB. Viewed as the bongo by many.
If it were a 5 string this sale would be over.

Hey thanks guys.

I thought I was the only one who liked this green. I think it's a little darker than Heinzy, or there is more grain or something.

You guys are making me feel guilty :(

Don't feel bad about liking 5 strings either. I gave my last 4 string away when I knew I wasn't going to play it.

Hang out here and get sick like the rest of us. :)

This bass deserves a home with a hardcore eb fan. Don't let this bass fall in to the hands of someone who might mistreat it :p
