Fusion:

An occurrence that involves the production of a union

The state of being combined into one body

The merging of adjacent sounds or syllables or words

The combining of images from the two eyes to form a single visual percept

The act of fusing (or melting) together

I never claimed to be a good player, but I have deep influences of New Jersey 50's soul, funk and attitude. Stills and Young made me a cowboy, and The Dead made me wasted. Mush that altogether and there's a sort of barbaric fusion style. For some reason(s) the Silo Special just tickles that funny bone. Country? Yeah, it'll do that. Rock? Sure, why not. Blues? Heyal yeah.

I just realized today what it is I dig about my Silos, and it's Fusion.

You know, the more styles I find myself playing(which is everything from Jazz to Country/Bluegrass to Blues to Metal and everywhere inbetween) and the more I consider doing session work when I get out of school, the more I like the Silo Special.

I used to be a primarily hum single single kinda guy anyway.. man, EBMM makes so many great guitars.
