Wassup friends. I wanna share with you guys my excitement. In just two more days i will get to see my first G3 show here in San Francisco. I can't even describe what i am feeling right now and i've been waiting for this for about 2 months now... platinum tickets are ready, paint markers are ready, both my JP guitars are clean and ready to be signed by the "Man" himself. I really really hope he'll get the time to sign both of them. :D

This is gonna be an experience of a lifetime for me and i am so happy that i am 48 hours away from it.

thanks!:)

So how was it?

Words can't even describe how i felt during the G3. 4 Hours of great guitar music playing from 3 premiere guitar players is simply best thing a guitar enthusiasts could ever ask for.

My personal experience with G3 is absolutely amazing. I get to meet John Petrucci up close and personal.... as he was standing there looking at me waiting for me to ask him a question, i just immediately told him that "me shaking your hand is a already dream come true and i could have not ask for anything more",,, He is such a gracious guy!

and to put the icing on the cake, he signed my 2 guitars!!!! i will upload some pictures of my guitar and also some pictures of him playing shortly as soon as i get everything set up in my computer.

for the sake of other people that are gonna see G3 this year, i chose not to tell you what songs they played. not knowing will make the experience a lot better. one advice? be ready for 4 hours of nonstop music. and expect the unexpected!!!

thats all for now, be back with the pics

DUDE WAS THAT YOU WHO SHOUTED?!!! when i heard You say that i started thinking "man i wish he does play it!" Anyways where were you seated that night? i was in Row G-18 just in front of Petrucci.

Anyways, to all of you forum mates, i am sharing the pics i have from that night. The pictures of Petrucci with his new BFR's doesn't do justice (i can't stress this enough) as to how they really look in person. They are absolutely amazing! I am also sharing you the pics of my JP's signed by the "MAN" himself

Thanks a lot. i really had a great time that night. As far as what i think about Paul Gilbert, i think that he is really really good. Honestly, i havent heard any of his music after Mr. Big, and after seeing him, im thinking about getting a CD of his solo album. He's pretty good and did something unique which i can't say for the purpose of not spoiling those who are gonna see G3 soon. it's prety cool though what he did!

thanks for the kind words. it was hard to decide whether i should bring the backplates like you suggested or bring my guitars but at the end of the day, i decided to bring the guitars anyways. who knows this might never happen to me again. he also signed my backstage pass and i think our picture is cool. he carried my reburst as if he was giving it to me, with my GF next to me holding my sapphire black. i cant wait how that turns out. the coordinator of the show said he will email the pics in about 2-3 weeks. so we'll see :)
