All:

I am losing my "buy a guitar brand spanking new from EBMM" virginity :D, and I want to pose this question to you...I'm buying a new Sil Spec, and it's going to consist of the following:

-(insert color here)
-matching body and headstock
-maple neck and fretboard
-3 single coil, as well as piezo pickups (I almost forgot that!)
-White Ice pickguard
-I think it comes with the case, too.... ;) :D

Choices of color are: Buttercream, Radiance Red, or Carbon Blue Pearl

Buttercream has lit a fire under my a**, and is what is fueling this decision, and truth be told, Buttercream is the way that I'm going to go. If I can get it, and there's no need for this upcoming help, then that's all there is to it, and I thank you for your time in reading this and helping out.

However, let's say that Buttercream goes the way of Envy Green, and is only available on the Limited Edition guitars and basses, and then it's outta here. That leaves my decision to be made between the remaining two...I love both of those colors, and I would be glad to live with either of them, it's just tough as hell to decide between the two.

Here's where you all come in: if you were me, and you were to say to yourself, "self, since you can't get BC, then you should go with..." what would your answer be, based on the configuration mentioned above?

Please respond with YOUR choice only, and with no additional comments, so that I can zip through this thread easily and document your answers rather quickly.

Also, the "game" aspect is no joke in the thread, if BC is not available to me in my choosing, then the lead choice in this thread is what I'm going with, so in essence, you ARE choosing the color of my new guitar, and I will faithfully execute the order with the majority color of choice if I can't get BC.

This will run through Monday night at midnight PST, so think it over, and choose wisely. :)

Thanks for your help guys!

Cumulative Total/re-tally -- current as of Mon, Jan 24 @ 10:36 PM:

Radiance Red: 5
Carbon Blue Pearl: 7 (forumites reponses, +1 per choice of my chick)
Desert Gold: 1*
Hell if I Know: 1*
Buttercream: 2*

* These are not official colors in the game, but documented for the purpose of...well, just because. You guys are like the undecideds... :)

My preference would be the Carbon Blue Pearl, I think... but this your guitar - you should get what your girl wants you to get ;)

Of your list I would go

1. Buttercream
2. Carbon Blue
3. Radiance Red - although I'd choose several others before this, but that's just me.

Actually, its kind of refreshing helping you choose, since I've been married for 17 years and don't actually get to make choices for myself

I have to agree with you on this one. I personally hate the color red. I only got the pearl redburst because it doesn't really look red. I am a blue color fan all the way. I love the color blue. But, that Radiance Red is the bomb! It is the only red instrument I have ever owned. If I could get my next Z-06 'vet in Radiance Red, I would! That is one awesome color. Mind you, I do like the carbon blue also, but after the Rad Red.

Well, I wanted my first (and to date only, someday I'll be able to afford more...) EB/MM to be really special. So when I heard about the Limited Edition run of Radiance Red, I decided that was the way to go for me. So my vote is for the Buttercream.

I hope they continue the Limited Edition runs, my goal is to have one of model!
A guy can dream, can't he?

Butter Cream will only be offered as a Limited Edition color, according to Scott, so consider that however!

Hows about Rolls Burgundy? ;)
