I just checked it out. It's going to be pretty cool. I really like the fact that you can get a true single coil from any of the coils on the pickups. It's going to open up a huge range of tones. I also like the basic design of the HSH on a Reflex platform.

Personally, if I end up going the Gamechanger route, I can see myself setting up my guitar initially and then not messing with it too much. I like the simplicity of a plug and play set up. I could see getting too caught up in trying to change everything all the time and getting lost in all the options. I'd end up having to keep a screwdriver with me to tap on the coils to find out which ones were active. I guess like anything, the more you use it the more it'll feel like second nature. It's a little overwhelming though. It's definately cool. Hats off to EBMM for stepping out and stepping up.

I'm curious to see how the whole thing goes over. When is the launch? I was thinking it was to have happened already.

Edit: the app itself looks really easy to use.

I'm with you, luv. I will likely set up banks A and B and keep them how they are. Bank A is going to be my "humbucker" configuration and bank B will be my "single coil" configuration I will use bank Z for experimentation and seldom used presets.

I also noticed there are options in the app pertaining to what the bank Z switch does as well as the piezo push/push knob. I think it's cool that we will have the option of deciding what those do instead of being locked into a particular set if controls.

We are setting up a GameChanger demo station here at the shop later this week, complete with computer, amp, usb, and of course the GameChanger itself!

Oh yeah, the interface is very intuitive. S

imply draw from left to right and connect the dots for each coil in the arrangement you want.

The path must start on the left and end on the right.

To have one coil flow into the next the "Stop" dot of the first coil must be in a vertical line with the "Start" dot of the following.

Click on the coil number to toggle between series (green) and parallel (blue)

I played with it. It is super cool seemed really cool. With the iPhone or iPad no need to tap a screw driver to the coils. The coil tweaking is for home though. I don't think I will experiment to much at a gig

I've already saved some presets, banks, and schemes for my Gamechanger so when it arrives I can hit the ground running. I'm sure I'll disappear into the studio for a few days and my wife will wonder where the hell I am...
