You guys must be dizzy with glee....Sounds corny, but watching you guys develop this and share it with us here, it just seems really cool, and sure as hell no accident. Awesome.
Congrats to all involved, even down to the person who designed the cool new logo. We'll all look back to this day and say, we were there when BP dropped the GC onto the unsuspecting music world.
It was easy to see how busy it was at the booth! It was interesting to me to wander around to the other booths and - well, it just wasn't all that exciting, unless loud and wanky = excitement. (I blame the drummers.)
Music Man had THE booth. Music Man had THE talent. I saw Tony L, Dave LaRue, Steve Morse, Dave Marrota, BEN ALSUP, Blues Saraceno and for one scintillating moment, Lisa Loeb. Even the roadie was superbly talented! (Hi, Tommy!) The only place that came close was Markbass and they did some really great stuff even if Ryan should have replaced their soundguy at the hotel party thing.
I was super proud that my badge said Music Man on it - I really was.
Big public thanks to you, BP, for the access (and Derek for making it happen).
It would have been great to spend more time with all of you guys, of course, but NAMM - whew. It's really insane.
This first chapter seems like a very promising start, it'll be a blast to be along when the story unfolds ... the possibilities of the concept seem mind blowing.
