i'm not surprised at all, i totally expected to read that here.

2 times a winner!!! congrats to the team!!!

naysayers can say winning that once is a fluke
but twice definitely means something!

Congrats. And thanks for the demo friday. Its pretty mind boggling the combos and where you can place them on pickup selector to suit individual taste.

PS Dudley looked absolutely perfect as Einstein!

About as real as it gets SFloyd! 48 so far. All EBMM (except for one OLP acoustic 12-string in the Axis shape, my custom Performance Flame, and my original Ibz JEM777SK which I keep for sentimental reasons -- first "real" guitar). I am working on updating my gallery, as there are about 14 missing from there! Including the roasted top Axis, the spalted top Axis, etc. Should have it finished in the next few days (all the photos are done which is the hard part).

It is really funny when the forums are quiet for months at a time preceeding NAMM and then BOOOOM lots of new stuff announced and available. Does show the hard work your team puts in, BP.

The Gamechanger does deserve the "Best Of Show" title, but not for what it is. The idea of the product has been around for so long, and it's been almost impossible in the past to be able to get the tones you think you'd want without pulling out the soldering iron. Even relying on a dip-switch based product like the Toneshaper did have it's limitations. (you had to yank out the pickguard to fit it, and it was built for Strats and Strats only.)

No. The trick on the gamechanger was how to do it well and make it as seamless as possible for the guitarist to interface. It's such a simple concept, that I bet you many people who have seen it in the industry are wondering why didn't they think of it first.

EBMM deserves the "Best Of Show" not because of that the product can do, but how it does it. It's like the Apple iPod, not being something new in the market, being an MP3 player, but it set the bar to bringing music to the masses with iTunes.

I also think BP and gang are only showing us the tip of the iceberg. I have a sneaky feeling there's more coming that he hasn't told us in relation to the gamechanger. Hmm...

I think the "award" may be an omen!!

I have this feeling that the "timing" is right in the market place for this innovation! I think players are "ready" for it.:)
