Garage Band semi-conquered (amateurish song within)

Okay, so here's a little ditty I did yesterday with Garage Band, my Bongo 4HH and Tyler's Albert Lee with two Duncan SSL-6 (neck and middle) and a Duncan JB jr. (bridge.) It's a song that belongs at the closing credits of a Science Channel show; but I'm stoked that I actually made a song and was able to record it. Mainly, I'm tickled with my Bongo's tone (as always.) You are, of course, welcome to laugh since I do NOT play the guitar. The ringy guitar part is with the neck and middle pickups, and the slightly more aggressive part is the JB jr. in the bridge.

I hope Putfile is playing nice today.

Look at the top of your window and make sure that Windows is not blocking the Active-X control that is needed to play it that was my prob.

Cool stuff in there! you definitely beat me on GarageBand, I never complete my projects! They do sound cool, I guess. Where those Apple drum loops? And what are the sweeping sounds? I tell you it's WAY cooler than anything I've ever imagine myself doing on GarageBand. If I ever finish anything I'll post it. No MM bass though, just the guitar...

The drums were all Apple loops with the exception of the bridge part, which was keyboarded (hence the slight sloppiness.) The sweeping sound is also an Apple loop, which is called "Electric Guitar Swell" or something similar. You can change the key of the loops, too; which I thought was really cool.

Well I couldn't tell what the bridge was :rolls eyes:. But there's an option to "improve timing" on tracks, midi and recorded. And LOL at the "ahhhh!" on the end

I was afraid it would give me some error like, "ability to correct time can only go so far, you know."

Let me look. I know it has a cool blue LED on the front that blinks when the computer goes to sleep. Some red ones, too, that light up when you push the buttons on the front. One moment...

It's a Lexicon Omega (Lexomega SV) that I plug directly into. The bass has no effects and the guitar is using "Dreamy Shimmer" on the clean parts and "British Channel" on the slightly dirtier part.
