I'm with you, brother - that 2014 Neptune Blue run was just fantastic...

Don't ask how many of those Morses I have...

No, really, don't ask... :)

Did you guys notice the Neptune blues being super dark? I bought a stingray from that run and it was so dark you couldn't tell it was blue!

Nice! That's the first time I've seen a Morse with chrome pickup covers. I like them.

Did all models in that PDN run have the white binding on the body? Or only those that are normally bound?

I have seen both. Dark and not so dark. But my taste has evolved and I do really prefer the darker ones now. And I'm yet to see a picture that fully shows how rich this colour is.

Well... Since you asked... :)

Three Standard and one Y2D...

I'd take another Y2D, with rosewood fretboard, if you had one lying about!

Kevin

Is this a record for most guitars purchased on one run?
I think it may be.

Nice Kevin...getting a backup for your backups backup!

(well technically one was a Y2D so i'm not sure that's accurate)

Obviously my Neptune Blue Y2D still needs a backup!

Dang! I didn't see that one... Congrats Magic Jason!

I love the neptune blue run. I currently have 5 of them (3 ALs, 1 L3, 1 reflex) but I've owned 7 of them (I let go of a really dark, really heavy L3 and an AL MM90).

Some of them are very dark, almost black; others are nice and blue-bursty. And the maple necks with ss frets are incredible. If I could spec a custom guitar, it would be very close to the neptune blue run.

This one will be modified to mm90. Good idea?

I picked up a AL MM90 recently and like it a lot so if you already have an SSS in the exact same finish it seems like a great idea to me.

I wonder how hard it will be to get a hold of the pickups.

Mighty impressive purchasing i'd say!

Yep exact same one. And the BFR SSS as well. I might buy Lollar m90s
