That's right, sports fans!

Mr. "I May Never Play In A Band Again" has gone and joined a band!

Just a dorky little cover band. But with some good guys.

I am especially happy with the drummer.

I played with him years ago. And had to pack it in because his wife had to have a kidney transplant. It took a good long while to get back in touch after something like that.

I am sure BP knows all about that sort of thing. I am happy to report that like BP and Casey Lee, she has made an excellent recovery! :D

So, no actual shows just yet. But, I'll keep you all informed if anyone needs an excuse to hit the desert!

Also, I took on a series of lounge gigs with Terry Furlong. Formerly with 70's band The Grass Roots. Doing all sorts of strange stuff.

Usually we open with "Girl From Ipanema"!

In the middle of all of this we are moving again, as you well know. And Patty has just left to go on vacation with her mom for a week.

AND I CAUGHT THE BLOODY PNEUMONIA!

DAMN! :(

Oh well, it gives me a chance to stay home and polish my Balls!

All the best, Ritchie

Oh my:eek:....first the food poisoning, then no takers on the house, and now pneumonia...if it wasn't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all....just kidding, Ritchie.;)

Good vibes from the Frozen North sent! Plus I'd like to add that I admire your upbeat attitude, your perspective on things.
I guess that's what happens when you look the grim reaper in the eye after a nice cajun meal, right?;)

Congrats on the gig!

Yay for Ritchie!!:)

Congrats on the gig Ritchie. My world for the past few months has been flaky vocalists who quit just when the band is ready to start gigging. I'm busting my balls to get on stage again.

Well, I got the all clear from the Doc to go back to work.

I still feel all weak and crappy as you do after you've been sick.

But, I can't sit at home any more! My mind was going!

Looks like my gig is on for this weekend.

So, if anyone is in the Prescott, AZ area on Friday night.

I'll be at the Cattleman's Bar & Grill on Sheldon St. with Terry Furlong.

LOUNGE BABY!

Thanks for all the good vibes!

I'm feeling much better now.

Just all tired and weak feeling. Which is normal after I've been ill.

Trying to decide which bass to use tonight.

Hmmmmmm...Dargie? Buttercream? Or one of those "other" basses.....

All the best,

Ritchie
