Technically, I did indeed purchase two of these, but #7 is part of a trade deal and is making it's way to it's new owner. So I guess until that happens, I do own #7 and #25......

As luck would have it my local GC (San Jose, CA) got another one in for whatever reason and had this stunning top on it is as nice as #7.

I did give it some time and thought (3 days) but was too weak to resist and went and got it.

She is a stunningly beautiful guitar.

One point that almost made me sway away from it was that since I had the Koa, this guitar doesn't bring any new features to me. But when you play the BB BFR vs Koa, they each seem to have a personality all their own..............the uniqueness and collectability is a nice plus though......

Mike, you're a sick man! That top is stunningly beautiful. I think that you hit the maximum # of characters allowed for your signature Congrats my friend

I didn't check the forums for 2 weeks and see what you guys do? Very very nice indeed. Great to see many of these fantastic instruments going to good homes here from the forum. I wish I could get one of these but the JPX is keeping me very happy indeed!

These tops look like the water out here in aruba...i wish I could have brought the guitar with me.but ill be back soon enough.

I've never been to bahama, but the water is beautiful down here, and now the guitar seems like an even more perfect gift, since it'll always remind me of my honeymoon

Highly true and fully aware thats the truth, point being first only like 15 not sold at this point and the majority are not fourm owned.

And been waiting to say this but here goes BP knows his stuff, while yes this sold due to GC and it's size, way too often fourm ask for guitar or bass X and says oh we will buy and well fails to deliver, the JH thing is a perfect example, Pete D gets in these to killer Silos and well one is still available 2 months later so my point is sometimes all talk no action
