slightly off topic, but sort of in line with this thread: there are some pretty cool toys and apps out there for guitars and the iphone/ipad. it's strange to think about plugging your guitar into your phone for any reason, but i can see myself checking some of that stuff out when i get my new iphone. ipad is coming into the household this summer too, so i might as well embrace the technology and have fun with it.

TC Electronics "toneprint" app. is incredible. Download the toneprint you like on your iphone, hold it near the pickups of your favorite EBMM while it's plugged in, and it downloads to your pedal. Really cool stuff.

That sounds awesome. I will have to try that app out. I love all the music apps that exist on iPad like Moog's Animoog app is a great synthesizer application. Also Garageband is awesome for a mobile way to compose songs on the go. Using MIDI, the iPad is great for your MIDI set up to use as a controller, sequencer, or sound engine.

I wish TC would make an app that you could run thru your iphone that would eliminate all the hiss and radio frequencies that their TonePrint pedals magnify. I have 3 and they are all going in for service from TC USA.

I was just noticing all of that noise myself. I thought it was my other pedals so I bought a noise gate. It helps a little but I never suspected it could be my corona & flashback(which I run through the effects loop). I'll have to investigate further. I'll let you know my findings.

It is AMAZING the number of really cool apps for guitar. Many turn your IPAD into a mini studio for recording ideas and even whole songs complete with everything. Just not enough time to do it all.
