GC visit and some freebies

Well made a little trip today to my two favorite Guitar Center stores, just to see what was up had not been in several months, saw some new stuff and found a couple of good deals.

So first the freebies The first person to email me at fingbeagles@ hotmail.com can have their choice of either a new still in the package size Large Ernie Ball Guitar Strings T-Shirt and a set of EB Super Slinkys or 2 sets of EB Super Slinkys, the second person to email gets whatever the first one did not choose

So as far as the trip, first GC has a killer deal on Super Slinkys or Regular Slinkys if you buy 12 in a box, so I bought a box of Super Slinkys, almost half price per set.

Also picked up a god deal on the t-shirts, bought one for me and the other to give away to a formite. And scored a couple pedals at a great price

Now for the good stuff, no I did not buy a guitar, it will be quite awhile before that happens again, believe it or not, but did get to see some of the new colors up close and, man I am so stoked, glad I am broke

First there was a JP in Streling Silver, it is a classy color, looks so good in person.

The other new colors were on the fat string stuff ( basses that is ) but still sweet, the had two that were True Gold, this color is awesome a touch darker in person than the pics I have seen posted, and my favorite was the Olive Gold, it is the best new color of the bunch IMO, so hard to describe and it had a gold swril PG, just awesome, may have to figure out a way to order something in this color, highly reccomend it.

All in all nice trip to GC, say some old sales guys I know and had a good chat about EB stuff

Sounds like a fun trip Fing... Congrats. I'm intrigued by the olive gold and would love to see it in person. The pics I have seen look awesome.

I won't email ya because I've got plenty of strings, and I'm too fat for the shirt - so I'll leave them to another forumite.

Hope you and you wife are doing well, yea I really did not need any strings but at the price to good to pass up.

Yea the olive gold is so nice, think DD but with the DD green mixed with a gold and brown, just jumps out at you.
