Getting a Roasted Neck guitar...but which one?

Hey guys. If you haven't seen the roasted maple necks being offered, you really should check out this thread:

Then I'm looking for some input. I've decided to order one of these roasted beauties, but I'm not sure which one. I've narrowed it down to 3 choices, and these are the only 3 I'm going to be choosing from. I have all the JP I can handle right now, plus I'm looking to diversify my collection a bit.

voted Morse.
I was looknig at what you already own and I think you've got the humbuckers plus some.
I think the Morse will give you extra tonal options, plus most likely be a little more rare.

The HH AL looks fine with it's all rosewood neck, I would go with something else if the look is the sole purpose...

This one's a package deal like the DD guitars. Black Sugar is the finish....kinda looks like black with sparkly sugar in it.

HH AL - Witchy Woman!

Brad, you should definitely go for the HH AL with that Sweet Roasted Maple Neck!

I would think that the Black Sugar finish with a tort guard combo (or even the vintage white pearloid) would look the best with the roasted maple headstock and the ebony board. Sound wise, I love the mahogany body of the HH AL with the hot Axis pups. The standard RW neck is awesome but, the maple neck will make it sound a bit more brighter and punchier. The AL body shape is super cool and really comfortable to play sitting down or standing up. That's what I would buy if I didn't have to sell my 25th. and my MD JP6...

I voted for the Morse because I'm thinking about ordering one, too.
You can never go wrong with a Morse, it's like a swiss army knife.

I changed my mind. Zomby is right. If you want an HH AL, you get the Rosewood neck.

I think a Morse is the best choice.

I would suggest the Morse. While a new neck adds its own unique flare, the RW neck is particular and unique to the HH AL. Leave that beauty alone.

And besides, aside from DDII, this is your chance to get an ebony board on a Morse. At a color of your choosing. Rare stuff.
