Im thinking a Reflex may be nice... if it was an all maple neck I would totally be going for a Silo Spec. But I think a Reflex or Axis Super Sport would look real nice...

As I said on the other post I am going with the HH AL all the way with this one. Since you own a nice herd of JPs I think an AL would stand out more in your collection than a Morse, especially since it only comes in a solid finish.

Anyone have a good theory on why they are putting these necks on one specific finish? Kind of strange since you can slap a neck on any color guitar, but at least it is a finish I really like.

I could be totally wrong, and don't quote me on this cause its entirely speculation, but since these guitars are a special run and made to order its unlikely they are hording necks and bodies and putting them together according to each order.

But my stance remains the same.

Go rare, go unique! Nothing better than adding a unique GOLD ROLLER to the collection!

I voted for the Al HH, since I'm gassing for one. I have one axe from another maker w/ an ebony board and love the feel, very slinky. I think a tobacco burst Al would look stunning w/ the roasted neck.

One thing to do is check the Stingray Classic threads over on the bass side to see what color combos look good with the neck. The SR Classics have a neck finished in a similar hue.

after much thinking from my side also, I will pass my turn on this offer :(

as much as those guitars on option are nice, I'd rather wait for the game changer

I'm happy with what I have now anyway :p

MM90 Ass.

Actually, BFR SSS AL with roasted neck??? Ebony board too, interesting combo.

I'm surprised you didn't say AL as your immediate response, Rob. The MM90 ASS was an idea for sure...it would have to be with piezo, too.

I didn't think about the Reflex at first...because I have a 25th. I'm getting a price anyway, but this one isn't likely to happen.

Gold rollerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL. The gold roller would look great in this package, but I'm afraid it might be a bit out of my price range this time around.

If I were to buy another Silo, it would be a doubleneck anyway.

Keep the responses coming guys. I haven't made up my mind yet...

Sorry for the Gold Roller fandom lol. After seeing BP's DDII GR w/ Roasted Maple neck, I simply wasn't the same. Ever.

Though, since you have the Silo, JP and 25th. What you need to brighten up your arsenal is a true single coil instrument.

AL SSS, AL MM90, or ASS MM90.

Since the ASS MM90 comes with the ash body, with the maple cap, the MM90's just come to life in a much different way than the Axis, or ASS.

I was fooling around with a '60 Les Paul P90 w/ Bigsby at a Hollywood guitar shop, but strongly preferred my buddy's ASS MM90. There is something very special about that guitar. There isn't a single thing I can put my finger on to identify it, but there's something REAL special about it.

No apology necessary. This thread and poll is totally moot now that I've seen Jeff's mockup of the Black Sugar Roller in the roasted maple thread.

Budget be damned. I'm getting the Roller...
