'kay, it's time you knuckleheads found out what I look like.

We played a Relay for Life benefit gig today, which was a roaring success. Big crowd in the tent (approx. 300?) with many more outside. We were well received.

He's tall, but not that tall...6'2". Both his wife and I are really short. I'm 5'7" on a good day and she's maybe 5 feet tall. You should see it when she picks up my bass. It's bigger than she is!

I know what you mean my 21 year old sister is only 4'10 and its funny looking when she picks up my bass. Shes an anomoly. My brother and I are around 5'10/11ish:confused: Moms says she was the milk man's cause she also has red hair and none of the rest of my family other than a cousin is red headed.  :D

Looks like you're having fun there! We played Relay For Life a couple of years ago, was a fun gig, and for a great cause. Our guitarist lost a kidney to the big C, so we were happy to play when they approached us. If you look closely, there is some EBMM content (guitarist's amp, and a Stingray hanging on my stand) :D

The beret is a nice touch.

Is that a Bose PAS?

Yeah...we drank the Kool-Aid and have gone all-PAS. What you see is ALL of the band equipment...there is no PA.

Funny thing about this gear...it seems to be an all-or-nothing deal. People either have great success with it or think it totally sucks. Maybe it's in how you use it...you can't treat it like conventional gear; you have to do what they tell you to do. Whatever...all I know is that we've never sounded better.

The rig you see me playing is a tower, a small external supplemental power amp and four bass modules. 1000 watts. I'm running through a BassPODxt. The rig kicks butt.

Nice shots! You look to wear your bass kinda high like myself and that looks to be a comfy strap. Would you mind sending me a PM telling what kind of strap it is? :)

It's a Levy's, padded, don't remember the exact model. It is, IIRC, about 2.5 inches wide. Certainly not 3 wide.

I didn't buy it. It came with the last used bass I bought, and if it was new when that bass was new, it's now about 10 years old.

I like Levy's. They last forever and are nice and comfy.
