I have a one-song excerpt from my gig last weekend posted as a .WMV file if anyone cares to look.

The lighting is terrible and you can barely see anyone, but the audio is tolerable.
I don't know how much bandwidth or whatnot is available on the server where I stuck it, so it may stop working at some point due to bandwith issues..

There's no flashy playing here, just a ballad in a bar.

Here 'tis

thanks, guys. We had fun with it.

I couldn't help but notice the Steve Rothery influence in my own vibrato! spkirby was right!

Man, that's wild. I love it, though, 'cause I think Rothers is the shiznit. ;)

Nothing wrong with being influenced by Rothery - some of the best vibrato in the world and great overall feel and touch - he has a great sound too

Respect dude.

Did you enjoy it? That's all that matters to me.

Makes me want to get back out there. It's been 4 years since I played out, and 8 since I made a living at it. I miss it.

Thanks again to all. Yeah, it was kinda nice to be out playing a gig. It's been ages, but it's like riding a bike.

I hope to get back to recording soon. My project studio at home is in complete disarray at the moment. I need to get rid of one of our computers so I can use it's workstation (desk) for my recorder & near field monitors.

I need a bigger house!

marillion-freak,

thanks, I'm a huge fan of Rothery, and Fish-era Marillion. I even like some of the early albums with H. But I haven't been able to make myself like the last several, Marbles included. Still, I love those guys and wish them the best always.

It was Marillion that got me back into playing after I had a few years of barely picking up the guitar. Rothery's playing inspired me to get back into the fold.
