I'm playing tonight in Charlotte, NC at the Evening Muse (off North Davidson St.) with singer/songwriter Kellin Watson, with whom I have played for the past 2 1/2 years. We had a gig earlier today and the show was really tight, so it'll be a treat this evening for sure. If anyone is close by and can make it, I'll be rocking the fretless S.U.B. this evening. If you do come, introduce yourself to me. :)

I just flew out of Charlotte a few hours ago... if I had known, well have a great gig and post again next time you're around.

By the way, the first bass I picked up after my week in the Bahamas was my Sterling fretless, followed by my Bongo... then the wife made me unpack.... God I missed my basses.

I just joined this forum but

If I would have seen it I would have made it out.

I love the Evening Muse and sinceit was a Saturday gig there I know that you must be a fine group as their standards are high and I enjoy that.

How'd it go?

i appreciate the kind words. the gig went well, though there unfortunately weren't many folks there. the early show was packed, and the reason for the slim turnout was twofold... one, it was easter weekend (and easter-eve for that matter), and unfortunately promotion was slim for the gig. we played really well, which made it alright. so, hopefully the promo efforts will catch up to our playing next time!
