Basses?

The Black Sapphire Bongo 5 goes wherever I may go. Never even a question. That bass kicks my butt every time I pick it up. Makes me wonder what I've done to deserve such a thing.

Backup will be the Flaming Biff Bongo, which I've been playing at rehearsals to get my brain wrapped around four bangers again.

Hell, I might bring three basses - it's right down the street. I'm forming a relationship with the Blue Pearl HSC Bongo 5. Yeah, three basses, why not?

So! Mr Oldtoe has no gig that night and will be there.

Who's in?

I've just today realized that I only have three Bongos (one on order, Phatty, one on order) and I'm bringing them all, dammit.

Where else will you find a band perfectly willing to do a root-five version of "Another Brick in The Wall" and then segue into "Istanbul"?

Or to blend "Secret Agent Man" with "Solitary Man" including the memorable line, "I'll be what I am.....secret agent man"?

I ask you.

We may yet add "Fernando" to the song list. Not sure.

Oh, and there is more. We've been busy. Not getting any better as a band, but perhaps more ridiculous, which counts, I think.
