Gigspam...NYC, 6/24 (Bongo content)

My band, the Implications, will be playing outdoors on the deck at the Harlem Yacht Club (yes, that's the name) in NYC this Saturday, June 24. Come see Da Bongo in action...along with my geeky bass player Kangol cap. Wear yours in solidarity!

The HYC is nowhere near Harlem...it's on City Island, which is in Da Bronx.

It's a special Pasta Night dinner to coincide with one of the club's annual races. $20 all-you-can-stuff-in-your-face if you want food, free if you don't. All ages welcome. The club does have a bar (not included in the food cost).

Nice venue...right on the water, nice view of the Manhattan skyline in the distance.

I'm noodling this one... Just noodling at this point - will probably come down to a last minute decision due to other things going on at home.

I am familiar with City Island - might be a good excuse to get a sitter for the night.
