Chuck,

I've only ever used the older 400rb and 800rbs and I've never wanted for more. That would have been an awesome BIN. I watch the 800s all the time and that's the lowest BIN i've ever seen. I think I got mine for 315 or so and it's in worse condition than that one.

Yeah, I'm leaning toward the 800RB or the 400RB. I know the new 1001RBII is very popular here so it must be a killer, but I'm not seeing many used ones and I don't want to spend a lot right now, I just had to eat an 800.00 dollar plane ticket this morning...

I'm seeing several 400RB's for around 200.00, but I think I'll keep looking till I see a good deal on an 800RB.

I have a 20-year-old 400RB in addition to my 1001RB-II. The 400RB sounds great just like its bigger, younger brother, but it was just a tiny bit underpowered for some of my gigs. I keep it as a backup amp. But I'd still recommend it!

I'm waiting for someone who has them in the UK to actually tell me how much they cost!

Can't wait to try some of these out - the Micromark would be perfect for me right now

BP, you've seen Psycho's amp collection. You know that buying a GK won't deter him one iota from buying a Markbass rig when they become available.

Psycho, I used to have a GK 400RB way back when. That kind of swayed me to go ahead and buy this GK rig that I have now. It was a solid workhorse of an amp. Don't remember why I let it go. Probably just found something new that I wanted to try. I still would have bought the Genz Benz rig though if the GK hadn't come along at such a great price. I really liked the sound of it too.

You got it Larry, I like lots of amps. When I can ever get my hands on a Mark Bass I'll buy it. I'm very interested in one of their small but powerful combos. :D

I want a GK 400 or 800 because it looks light and I wouldn't have to rack mount it, just toss it in a bag.

Tennesee's not that far away from you either, is it?

Memphis is on the other end of Tennessee from Chuck. 8 hours across that damn state. Driven it too many times. Half way wouldn't be too bad. Nashville would be a hoot. Road Trip!

Thanks Randy, that has everything!

But for now I'm just looking for the head, I've got an Ashdown 410H, the Ampeg 810e, an Ampeg B-15s and two SWR 210's.

Of course I know that after I get a light weight head I'll want light speakers, but for now...:D
Will he separate it?

At this point, yes I am separating the rig. The 1001RB-II and 410SBX are already spoken for though. All that is available is the 115SBX-II.

You would do that for me? :D

Heck I can't even lift the thing off the 810, I dropped my Korg tuner down behind this rig and I won't see it again till we move.
