I agree 100%! You're paying me and my band to provide the music; not instrument rental or stage time. If you're going to crash the stage...at the very least, bring your own axe; unless otherwise dictated (as in the Open House jam).

That's what jam nights are for, and even then you're expected to bring your own axe/sticks.

aw hell, i play the holy living crotch outta my 20th anniv! of course, it already had some dings when i got it so i don't feel too bad about it :D

That man's a friggin' monster on the bass, and a helluva nice guy!

He actually recommended (at my request) a local bass teacher, in case I wanted to step up my abilities a notch...a class act!
