It would be great if someone from the forum wins the auction, so we can keep in touch with the guitar, see pics from time to time. It should be played. Too expensive for me sadly

After having payed so much money for a guitar, I'd be too scared to play or even touch it :p

Nice thought but imo it's not a gigging guitar. I don't think any of the 25 Mr Horsepowers are regularly gigged although I do recollect seeing Dave b using one in anger !!

It would be nice to see it once in a while though, so yeah, I hope it stays on the forum - I think BP wants this bad !!!

I wonder if one could write off this as a charitable deduction. I kind of think you cannot because you actually get something in return for your donation. Any one know for sure?

I believe the CLB guitars are 100% tax-deductible. http://www.ernieball.com/clb/past.html

Also, there are people here who have such CLB guitars. They might be able to tell you about their experience with the matter.

Well, that's me outbid and still not hit the reserve.

I reckon this is going to go really high (glad that it will as well, it's for a great cause)

You know, I never really knew what the CLB foundation was all about until a few days ago, and when I learned that Casey Lee Ball had polycystic kidney disease, it really touched my heart.

My singer and good friend died two years ago because of polycystic kidney disease.

This is such a beautiful thing. I hope the price skyrockets. :)

I'm I being too picky or is the lack of any decent text formatting too hard to read and not doing the auction any justice?

I can't bid but I'm guessing it'll finish over $25,000. Anybody wanna turn this into a game?
Here's my guess - $32,000

That is just a beautiful guitar, let alone the cause behind it. This guitar would go over 20k without the cause behind it... and since this is such a great cause backing it up, I say it'll go well over 25k and probably close to 40.

I'm saying...

$37,000

So Eb has one in the Vault and the Auction is for Chris's......So if BP has 1 in the Vault do you think he will buy the other or let someone else have 1?......i think the later, If BP and the gang have 1 they will let this go to the highest bidder!
So freakin cool that guitar! that WITH Mr.horsepower would be a combo made in heaven:D
