Going to do a little bass recording demo tomorrow at a university

The students in a freshman level recording/engineering class at Texas State University had to get a musician to show up and be recorded for a class project to be presented to the whole class. Originally, my guy had a steel drum player lined out, but he flaked. So now, his class is going to exposed to the ne-plus-ultra of bass guitars, The Music Man Bongo 4 and Bongo 5. I'm supposed to demonstrate different playing styles, and can scarcely wait to tell them all about the vast sonic palette that the Bongo has. I'm always happy when I get to spread Ernie Ball/Music Man knowledge to up-and-comers in music and recording!

Go easy on them youngsters, prolonged Bongo exposure might damage there fragile little minds lol.

It went extremely well, and it was fun getting to talk about the history of the Bongo while demonstrating its tones. I was very encouraged by the professionalism and intelligent questions from those freshman students. Absolutely rewarding experience for me in every way!

Nice one man, glad it all worked out, I can imagine that the history of the bongo re design concept etc..being as captivating as the sounds.
