Just got back. No question, Doug is very skilled. Plays at an incredibly high level.
Plus there were keys, sax, bass and drums.
He sat. Foot still immobilized though cast is off. Still great musical energy.
Also, not playing an ebmm

Has a cd (PM him if intereste) out that has been in my car player since the open house. Horns, keys, percussion, bass and drums. And him and another fine guitarist. A couple of the guys also play with Luke.
Doug wrote 2 of the tunes. It also has a Mike landau tune called I'M BUZZED that has one of the coolest chord progressions I've heard. Doug's playing is very reminiscent of LUKE. Nice phrasing, great use of trem, good comping, the whole package.

It was our jazz group's 1st show, looks like there will be more!
