Maybe this is a better question for the DiMarzio forums, but I'll ask here because some of you might be in the same boat.
I just got a limited edition Petrucci. I like the pickups and am not as of yet planning to switch them, though there's some chance down the road that I'd go for a Steve's Special over the D-Sonic.
The limited edition pickups have gold pole pieces, so that of course makes it harder to switch pickups while keeping the same aesthetic.
Do you know if it's possible to get other pickups with gold pole pieces from DiMarzio? Looking over the FAQ on their website, it says that the pickups come either with chrome or black. But I thought perhaps they do special orders, and since many of you own BFRs and Special Editions, you might have ordered such pickups.
