We made this instrument as a one-off 3-4 years ago to get Ronnie Wood interested in the Silhouette guitar again...Both Keith and Ronnie used white ones back in the 90's. Keith received a 20th anniversary in 2006 so we decided Ronnie would enjoy an updated version as well. This guitar has been in London the past couple of years since the timing was never right. Well this last week Ronnie was presented this model and he was instantly smitten....We decided Ronnie would enjoy a dressed up version with mini humbuckers, all gold finish with gold hardware for a flashy vibe. We were right!! He loved it right away! Its a cracker! (Thanks Alan Rogan!)

We hope this guitar will stay in his arsenal for a while especially since the Stones have some rumors brewing of a 50 year celebration...This guitar would be a nice stage companion.....maybe Keith will see this and whip out his 20th Anniversary model.

Thankfully the Gold Roller is part of the BFR series so anyone can enjoy!

what an honor to continue a legacy that your family has built. it's so awesome to know that the very guitars that we love and play are the same exact guitars that legends such as Ronnie, JP, AL and many others play.

This is just incredibly cool! Couldn't be any more proud of the EBMM Family.

About a month ago, I saw a Rolling Stones concert on TV from the Steel Wheels tour. Keith's white Silo was prominently displayed throughout the show and he was holding it during their bowing session at the end.

I went to that tour and noticed Keith's Silo (on the big screen), but at the time I actually thought it was a Stratocaster with a modified headstock. I really wish I got a Silo way back then.

I'm so happy I'm not famous, Rich and so out of touch that it take a couple of years for a real cool guitar to finally get to me:)

The Gold Roller looks really good on him !

Ronnie Wood has always been the ultimate team player and I find it great that Sterling singled out a specific model for a guy with such an abundance of talent who seems more comfortable in the background. Looking back at his career and how successful it has been is just astonishing. From his time in the Jeff Beck group where he had no problems with switching to bass on landmark albums Truth and Beck-ola, The Faces where he co-wrote songs like Ooh La La and Stay with Me which is still one of the greatest guitar parts recorded, his work with Stewart on his first solo album on which he also played and co-wrote songs like Gasoline Ally and Every Picture Tells a Story and we all know that's him soloing on Maggie May, to his 35 years in the Stones. It is weird with a career full of credentials like that he really seems contempt never having to have the focus of things put on himself. I just read Pattie Boyd's bio this week and learned that Woods is also a very talented artist (painter) as well, a very humble guy indeed.
