I just got my Goldie yesterday, have loved playing it, but it seems to have major tuning stability issues. Has anyone else had this, or have any advice? I tried stretching the strings (even broke the high E) but they still want to go out of tune when I play, whether or not I’m just bending the strings or using the bar.

Man, that's so hard to say without actually looking at the instrument. Could be anything from strings cinching up on the nut, bridge not set at right tension, neck not settled...

It seems to be getting better as I’m playing it more. Maybe it just needed to settle in a bit?

One more question: I noticed my pick guard is not flush with the body of the guitar in the middle. Is this normal?

Trust me, electric guitars LOVE the stable AZ (or NM in my case) humidity. I rarely have to adjust anything and by rarely, I mean never. lol. Acoustics on the other hand, keep them humidified.
