Thanks guys!! Its probably still got the mop pickguard on it that I go t from Travis and I think Im gonna try to find another black one like what was originally on it. Unfortunately I dont think they make them in a matte finish anymore. If anybody has one Ill be more than happy to trade ya when I get the bass back.

Hey John! Welcome back!

As much as I hate to tell you, the Blue SR5 is not mine anymore. I do have 2 Bongos though.

hehe I did love that bass. But not that one, unfortunately the blue one was just lost because of GAS. It was the Butterscotch blonde one that I had.

great news, hopefully you've learned from this experience, so the next time you get married you won't do that again. :D ;) ( disclaimer: I'm only joking OK?)

Thank you sir. I got this bass originally about a year and a half ago off of ebay. Someone had played it ALOT and the frets were wasted. It took a trip to the factory the day after I got it and got a refret. Later Gav, (Rod Trussbroken) found me a mute kit in germany for it seeing as it had the transitional bridge. Then for some reason I went through another one of my 5 string days and traded it to a friend in Atlanta for a SR5. Got married, Bills came and I had to sell the SR5. I traded a Geddy Lee Jazz for an 83 P bass about 2 weeks ago, posted it on the pit, my buddy from Atlanta PM'd me wanting the P bass for the sterling!! Its fate that I have this bass! Ive been kicking myself for trading it off and luckily enough I was fortunate enough to recover it. Now if I can just get another matte black pickguard like what was originally on it for it ill be set!! I would go on a quest to recover at least one of my SR5's, but I think Im gonna work on saving for a dual Pickup 5 instead.
