27 inch scale? YOW!! I could NEVER play something like that- I'm far too much of a weakling, heheh. Seriously, though, that's gotta build strength in your hands pretty well. Did it take long to get used to?

I did sell an older ESP Strat like copy with 21 frets yesterday.I hadn't played that guitar since I had gotten my Axis and I was trying out that guitar for a second and I couldn't believe how big and heavy it is compared to my Axis.Once you have MM's you don't want anything else anymore.The good thing is I did get some money for the ESP so I can use that for a new MM...Axis or JP.

yeah the 27" scale on the 7 string took a little to get used to, but i really love it now. the extra length really keeps this this thing in tune and puts a much better tension on the strings. i use 11-49's on it, and a .60 for my low B string. although i can play a little bit longer on my axis guitars, those are a bit easier ;-)
