Which is a bright orange/gold colour, got that for my 14th birthday, which i got new, for £700
Today i got a new Musicman ernie ball Stingray5 which has a black body, maple fretboard & a matching black headstock.

Welcome aboard, congrats on your new bass, 15 and two EB/MM's, way to go.
Price sounds about right, all the best with your new bass.

Any Music Man bass is a good buy. I feel for you guys (and gals) in Europe for pricing though. A used StingRay 5 would likely be in the $1200 range around here, so roughly half the price.

+1!
how does a 15 year old afford such things? :(

Generous and wise parents?

Better spending money on a great musical instrument than on video games or other time wasters.

MMP, I only hope you give it the attention it deserves and truly commit to it for the long haul. It's the nature of being a teenager to lose interest in things at the drop of a hat. It'd be a CRIME for those basses to wind up in a closet.

Never lose sight of the fact that most kids your age, if they're LUCKY, get to play Guitar Hero. A real instrument at age 15? Relatively rare. A world-class instrument at age 15? You are way, way out on one end of the bell curve, my friend.

You owe it to yourself to do it justice.

A standard (new) stingray / sterling here in belgium is +2000€ (=2700$)
and that's without any special colour, additions,...

Absolutely :)
Saw a ticket to Miami for €350. Very very tempting! :p

Or buy 1 second hand from Ebay.
Or buy a limited model from the US. (After 2 years they are allowed to be shipped to Europe)

So many options!
No excuse for not owning an EBMM bass! :D

Nice stuff, not really my thing overall, but I do really enjoy Just Happy. Listening to it for the third time now:p.

Thanks :)
yeah that song seems to have a popular outcome, hoping to write some new songs in a genre like that, but its hard to get it sounding like that, but not to similar.
