Is ~$900 (used price posted) good for an all rosewood axis with piezo?
Thanks,

Without seeing the individual guitar it sounds like a decent deal. those models were only introduced early in 05 and the earliest models are probably on the street for a year at most. Barring exceptional abuse it would most likely be in decent condition, but I would find out why it was being sold.

BTW - The all rosewood is "da bomb"

Hey guys, thanks. Yeah, it's on ebay. It looks to be in great condition. The seller says he's played it approx. 10 times. The back covers still have the plastic on them. BUT, it is a trem (not a floyd), but a trem. I would prefer a hardtail, but at that price it might be too good to pass up, especially since it has the piezo.
One thing, he added two more springs for a total of 5 springs. I'm not sure why, although he does say it is set up with 10g strings.
Thanks,

The vintage trem sits flush, so he's probably added the springs to make it play like a hardtail. (E.g. you need to press the bajesus out of the bar to dive.)

Damn It!!!!!!!!!!!

I was less than a minute away from my first EB. I was the highest bidder. Then within one minute, 4 other people outbid me and I'm at work with a stupid, slow ass computer. Man, I'm heartbroken.
Oh well.
