The good news is I just ordered my first Music Man. It'll be an Albert Lee, Black Cherry Burst, matching headstock, white pearl pg, trem and MM-90's.

The bad news is it cost twice as much as I've ever paid for a guitar and will take 4 months to get here! But I guess you can't really fight the urge, can you?

The *really* bad news is Johnny Cash died. I loved that guy...RIP.

As I am originally from Nashville, Johnny was a neighbor of mine, His son was in the same grade as my sister at school. June's memorial service was in the same church where my brother was married. Anyone who can smuggle a car in a lunchbox is OK by me. I will miss him.

Some might say Hank williams, Jimmy Rodgers, or even Robert Johnson were the most important Amertican artist of the century.
To me it was the man in black, hands down. Not becuse of his stardom, but becuase of Johnny Cash the man.
No one of his stature has ever been as honest, as sincere, as benevolent, or as humble.
Johnny, you were the best.
You were the soundtrac of my life, and I only greive for not having met your greatness.
Your pain is over. Now with June.
You were my compass, I will be lost.:(

Oh Man!

Oh man! That 4 months will be worth the wait! I have had my EBMM Morse for a little over 2 months and lovin it! Incredible guitars EBMMs are. The necks are totally incredible. I had alot of hand pain with my Les Paul, but my Morse cured that. Someone on this site wrote that I would be doing things on this guitar that I could not do on my LP, and they were right. I am playing licks now that I had extreme difficulty with on my LP. Incredible machine. You will enjoy no doubt.

Yeah...I played an Axis in a local store, couldn't believe the neck feel. It's just great.

Instead of buying that Axis, I decided to get a tricked out AL. P90's, 25.5 inch scale length and that neck seem like the pefect guitar to me...I can't wait....

BTW, does anyone had a picture of a black cherry burst finish? The ones on the EB site are a little hard to see.
