Might get the Zendrive to replace my TS9, not sure yet.[/QUOTE]

You will not be disappointed in the ZD if you are into Larry Carlton, Robben Ford or anything like those guys with sweet blues tone for days. I've had one on my board for over a year. It will never leave it. Caution though - it is nothing like a TS9.

Same here - compressor.

The EH soul Preacher is good value for the money.

I don't know fellas. I gave up on a compressor in my chain - a soul preacher in fact. It was squashing my tone. A good OD pedal gives me the sustain I'm looking for. But it does change the tone. I have an OCD, a Skreddy Screwdriver (killer pedal), a Wampler Hot Wired (another killer pedal) and a Zendrive. Four different tones for overdrive and all the sustain I want when the volume is up a little past bedroom quiet.

I love using the compression from my G Major for clean, just sounds nicer, adds sustain, etc. I don't really like it much with distortion though. I don't have much experience with OD pedals, but everyone loves the BB Preamp.
