good place to buy a guitar case??

ok i am looking for a place that will have a hard case that will fit my OLP MM1, was woundering were you all got your cases for your musicman guitars??

Actually, Music Man guitars come with a hardshell case (unless you buy them from Guitar Center), except for the SUB guitars, which come with a gig bag (again, unless you buy them from Guitar Center).

GC seems to be the only EBMM dealer that makes you buy the included case separately. The claim is that they have reduced the guitar price accordingly, but I personally feel the need to wear boots when I hear that.

I almost bought a SUB1 guitar a few months ago from a local GC. I asked if it came with a gig bag and they said no, so I left empty-handed.

I bought my next guitar from a small, locally owned EBMM dealer who doesn't play this game.

And by the way, you can buy a suitable case (SKB hardshell) from Musician's Friend, which happens to be owned by Guitar Center.

ok thanks for the info, yes i got mine for GC and it did not come withone if i had known that i would have made them give me one...lol. guess GC lost my shopping....

i will check MF for one even though they are owend buy GC at least it not at my local store....lol

Dude, OLP's don't come with cases. EBMM's come with cases with the exception of the Sub's these don't come with cases. Though they GC are blowing out the older Sub's for newer ones coming in. They had 3 at the one near me and they were priced to move. PM for more details (remember no posting prices).

You can buy the EBMM cases online at Musician Friend or any of the other online retailers. They show up on EvilBay every now and then.

Glenn, I think you're wrong. Petrucci OLP comes with a case, I have one locally and the guy in the store told me that all them come with cases.

Philip, only if you get the Petrucci Pack, yes they come with the case, but dudes got a MM1, which is the Axis copy. Those don't come with cases. I've seen the Petrucci Pack, the case is really more of a gig bag with a hard foam insert inside. Better than nothing, but could never replace a real case.

thanks for all the info on if it came with a case or not, i might end up trying some pawn shops maybe they might have some used cases, other wise i might get the one at MF.....

i just want something that will last and be sturdy... so the guitar wont slide in the case...
