HI i;m a long time lurker . i have a stingray5 trans teal /clear picguard Maple neck and a black /black maple sr4.I play through a GK 1001RBII and a music man 210HD ( great cab ) . I also have a Aguilar gs112 . Today I played a bongo for the first time , I plugged into the same head that i have , the GK 1001rb II .WOW I was loving the tone , Massive , very impressive , could dial in anything i wanted . I might even sell my g&l jb-2 and pick up a bongo 4hh . I didnt care for the one they had at guitar center , it was nice but well played , almost used . anyway I normally buy off of BassNW but they only have 1 stealth instock and i;m not to crazy about the all black hardware . I live in Boise so i was wondering if there are any other internet shops that have a nice selection of bongos ? I really like the graphite pearl and others .

I might sell the sr4 not sure , since i just put flats on it , i like it alot
I mostly play the sr5 . the sr4 neck is a little chunky for me . I should have went with a sterling maybe . Maybe one of each lol

thanks
Todd G.

Hey there, welcome to the forum. Digging the clear PG on your stingray. The others just said what I was going to say.

Cheers,

Another *ping* for Jack and Steve (Dude Barr)!

I've ordered two basses from them now, and they both have made my EBMM-buying experiences smooth as silk.

They even make the wait seem short by keeping our attention elsewhere. The little devils! :p

Welcome aboard bro!

I have to echo the recommendation for the Dynamic Duo of Steve Barr and Jack Williams. Their service is the best on the 'net.

Although I don't think they have any Bongos in stock, they can order anything that you want.

My SR5 is a dark trans teal from what i understand , it doesnt look like the more green teal on the EBMM site . it is very close to what the pic shows

serial number is EO7001 , can anyone tell me ?

I bought it new about 9-10 years ago and it gets better every time i play it .
It;s like fine wine , lol

Welcome aboard. I feel the same way about my SR5 it is the easiest playing 5 string ever produced IMHO.

The Bongo plays good too. Good and loud :D :D

Graphite Pearl is a great color. Can't go wrong ordering one of those in Bongo form.
