Fusion matched.... if you really break down the vocabulary, that makes no sense at all, at least to me. Am I missing something?

Good point. It is a federally registered trademark, which means it cannot actually describe the product. In essence, a trademark has to mean nothing, and the Trademark office found it means nothing, so there you go.

LOL! Maybe that's why he trademarked it, because he couldn't figure out a scientific explanation for "fusion matched" either. :D

I still can't get over "fusion matched"

Sounds more like a trademark for a dating service

I'm no engineer, but this quote:

"The Fusion Matched™ process involves combining materials and workmanship to create matched harmonizing attributes."

still seems pretty vague to me. I would hope that all string makers would match materials and workmanship.

Well, to be quite honest the Bo-El body shape is as close to the ASS as the SS is to the Strat... The headstock really doesn't look similar to my eyes either. I know we all love EBMM, but there's no reason to turn this wonderful outfit into Gibson...

The Bo-El is obviously inspired by the Axis, but tell me people, does this seriously look like a simple Axis copy to you?

I know I'm a bit dim, but does EBMM hold a global patent for the 4 + 2 configuration?

the 4+2 is an issue if he tries to sell in the usa

Why are we talking about Curt? 5 hope he is doing well and is happy with his decision to not move to the desert.

I would have had no problem with what he did had he not managed to miraculouly have our dealer list on his website from day one. Karma is a bitch. I heard that there are a coupla employees in his marketing company (i dont think he owns a machine unless it is an answering machine) that allegedly got stiffed when he moved to Colorado.

I am also very happy to not have him walk around the office calling himself the idea man. Beth who had the ideas?

Why are we talking about Curt?

Because he went out of his way to become the string sponsor for a company who is obviously copying our 4+2 headstock. What a moron...

And, because it's fun to ridicule him, lol!

and can you imagine how funny it would be if Curt decides to go into US distribution business with this guy and US Customs seizes the shipment for trademark restrictions??? Hope I live to see the day when karma gets served on that silver platter!!! WOOOO WEEEEE!!!

Good God Almighty, I'm happy about that too. I know who the idea man is, it's this crazy guy named "Big Poppa" who hangs out on the EB forum calling everyone a Knucklehead! :D :D :D
