I replied early on recommending the HT5 but picked up a Blues Junior a few weeks ago and since then the Blackstar has gone unused... I'm really enjoying the Blues Junior, it's a very pedal friendly, inspiring setup to mess around with.

The blackstar could end up on the chopping block...

Hey guys. I wanted to post my experience yesterday.... Yesterday I got to try out a hughes and kettner tubemeister 18 head through an orange 1 12 cab and an orange 2 12 cab. They told me that the Tubemeister will be shipping in October. I've already ordered one. Its an amazing little amp. Its 18/5/1/0 watts, with a Red Box DI built in for home recording. The guitars I used to test the amp was a Reflex, Axis SS, and a JPx. All were amazing to my ears! Street price $599!!! The blackstar is still cheaper. BUT I'm a wattage nerd! I love 15-22 watt amps. Thats just me. AND i love the fact I can practice with this amp and play gigs with it too! Well I'll take a 100 halfstack any day but I'm not playing any arenas anytime soon..haha... So If you are checking out practice amps check it out. You might be shocked!
