I stopped by the Guitar Center in Villa Park IL this afternoon and have to say they have a really good selection of EBMM basses, including a 30th SR4 and a 2006 LE SR4 HS. Plenty of Bongos, Stingrays and Sterlings. All of them were pretty high up, so maybe not too many people have gotten their greasy mitts on them.

The GC in Naperville had only a few EBMM basses in stock. Maybe I can make it to the Joliet store tomorrow before I head to Dallas...

Did you have a chance to check out the Arlington Heights store? I was there last Saturday, but didn't have much chance to check out the Balls...sorta had Markbass on the brain. I did see a stealth Bongo hanging on the wall...first time seeing one in person. Also have to say that it was the quietest, most organized, GC I had ever seen on a Saturday afternoon. The sales staff were dressed like businessmen/women and very helpful.

Ha! Last Saturday was when I bought my CMD-121P at the same store.

BTW,
Good luck finding someone to get any of the EBMMs down off the celing at Villa Park...
