I'm feeling a good bit better now. The pain is trickling away and I'm looking at this is a re-opened door for me. I can really pursue my goal to start playing full time. I'll be attending the Atlanta Institute of Music this time next year.
Things are looking good guys! Thanks for the prayers and good vibes! It means alot!
Stanky, you're going to music college and plan to play full time? I really envy you, I wish I'd followed that dream at your age, it seemed too difficult at the time though.
todd sorry to hear your changes.
Hold your head high and concentrate on your life and what you want to do. There is something very attractive to the ladies when we are confident and standing tall (and holding an EB instrument in our hands!)
I can relate in a big way. My 16 yr marriage just ended a month ago. I have custody of my three kids, and I was able to keep my house. I had to sell a lot of nice basses, but I kept my house and the kids don't have to go through all sorts of changes. (this explains my long absences around here - my life has gotten really busy)
I view the whole experience as being given a second chance.
It does hurt at first, but just remember that the good will outweigh the bad. The next young lady that comes along will be even better - it's just about a proven scientific fact.

Screw anyone who writes you off as long as you dont write yourself off. These things take time and double secret perseverance. Use thier quiting as extra motivation and make sure that its a positive one. Easily said but you need all of the positive energy you can and events like that tend to produce more negaive energy
