Good vibes, please....

Early this morning I was texted by a friend of mine with some horrible news.

My good friend Brittany Maxwell who lives in north Alabama, was driving to school this morning through the rain. The details I haven't been able to find out but she wrecked and she did not make it.

Please, good vibes and prayers to her family. She was a great Christian girl and an incredible friend and she will be incredibly missed.

I'm 68 years old and the 2nd oldest of my family that remains. Most of my friends are gone too. But it's really sad to hear when a young person goes.

I do thank you all for your good vibes and prayers. I was told yesterday at work and it really didn't "hit" me until I came home and looked at her MySpace. I really wish I could attend the funeral services but I really don't have the money to do it. 4-5 hour drive and i'm near broke.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. That brings me comfort.

Andrew I'm really sorry - I never know what to say in these situations - a friend of mine at work lost her aunt on Tuesday and I just never know what to do or say - everything just sounds trite... but nonetheless my thoughts are with her family, and I hope you'll be ok.

The same goes for the Ball family xxx
