Black is ubiquitous. It goes with everything and looks good on pretty much everything, too.

I'm digging the Lake Tahoe Blue, Classic Candy, and Trans Walnut.

Also the standard AL shows only the new colors. Is that the case for the SSS/MM90 guitar as well or was it a mistake when updating the HH colors?

Saw that, too. Looks like it was a mistake indeed...I just checked the homepage and the color choices for the SSS/MM90 AL are "back to normal".

It's not much of a surprise that mint green got discontinued...I mean...it's green after all! :)
Glad I got mine, it's really a great vintage-type color. But Lake Tahoe and Walnut are awesome, too!

I think there is still quite a few NOS pieces with those colors...especially the Coral Red it seems. Straycat, there is one available through GC...check the platinum section of their site. I personally like these new colors and they seem to work much better overall...as a matter of fact I am really liking the gold one which is surprising to myself.

I am still a bit unclear as to whether these "new colors" are only available on the AL HH? Would be really cool to see Lake Tahoe Blue on a LUKE and the Trans Walnut on a Silo :).

Well from a business stand point of course black has to be in the rotation as it is the (safe) color and is a good seller. But how many guys actually love solid black, about the same that hate it=not many. It is like neither here nor their but everyone will take one. Strange as I dress in black 80% of the time and when it comes to clothes I would not be caught dead in a Coral Red or Mint Green suit lol, but guitars are a whole different thing.I also cant believe any colors on the AL HH did not sell well and we all remember that review in Guitarist magazine where the only complaint was they got a black guitar to review and deducted a half of point which was ridicules, but pointed out all the cool colors it came in. Now of course if I had a Mint Green or Coral Red already I would be jumping for joy for the new colors which are great. I guess it is just venting that they did not keep my two favorites another year, after all I did buy 4 new Balls last year AL HH ,Roller in RM/BS, 25th and PS Y2D. I am starting to believe that they come with a curse or that they release some kind of guitar crack when played lol. Well as I map out what to get this year I believe I have it down but then have to weigh in what surprise Sterling will throw in during the year. I may just end up on that show Interventions.
